 Still, political judges say that after the repeal of Composition 370, which is the special status of Kashmir, it's being ruled from a nationalist point of view and changing its name is a part of it. 

 

 

Noor Ahmad Baba, a former professor of political wisdom at the University of Kashmir, believes that the central government is enforcing nationalism in Kashmir at its own pace and according to its own docket. 

Attempts are being made to weaken those who have passions. 

 He says similar sweats have been made ahead.

 He thinks that this work is done by the tagged representatives but at present it's being done by the administration which isn't a good thing for Kashmir. 

 Similar attempts have been made in the history? 

 

Numerous government structures in Kashmir have formerly been named after political numbers. 

The name of Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, the first Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, appears in numerous places in Srinagar. 

There's a sanitarium, a justice colosseum and a convention hall named after him. 

 Numerous names of Dogra Raj can be seen in Srinagar megacity. 

Pratap Park still exists in Srinagar's Lal Chowk and there's a large sanitarium in Srinagar named after Maharaja Hari Singh. 

 

 Still, the 76 names that have been ordered to be changed don't include any political names. 

 Paul says the process of naming won't end then, but may change the names of some other places in the coming days. 

 Response of political parties 

 The National Conference Party of Jammu and Kashmir says it isn't primarily against the name change, but what's passing now is one-sided as well as a"deception". 

 Party spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar said the government was doing all this to cover up its failure. 

 

 He said that this government occasionally calls PHEA as Jal Shakti and is wasting its time in all these effects."It's all just for the filmland. 

This government has the propaganda ministry that's being used. 

 But in Kashmir, the BJP has linked the name change to the loss of special status in the disputed region. 

BJP prophet Altaf Thakur said that original political parties in Kashmir had linked the names of their ancestors with government structures then and it was said that they had done all the development work. 

 

 

Thackeray says that now the names of those who offered their lives for the country are being named and now those people are dead. Elimination of Composition 370 

On August 5, 2019, Narendra Modi's government repealed Composition 370 of the Constitution, removing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and making executive changes. 

 

 After the junking of Composition 370, the flag of India was hoisted on government structures then rather of Kashmir. 

At the same time, it was made obligatory to hold Independence Day programs in seminaries. 

 Numerous government orders legislated after the repeal of Composition 370 have been blamed in the history.
