He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai in early January 2022 after contracting cod.

She remained in the ferocious care unit for several weeks, where she breathed her last on Sunday morning at the age of 92.

Lata Mangeshkar was born on September 28, 1929 in Indore, Central India. His father Pandit Dina Nath Mangeshkar was also a songster.

She was the eldest of her father's five children. Latterly, Lata's youngish siblings also followed her and stepped into the world of music.

Lata Mangeshkar's film music career gauged further than half a century in which she sang over songs in 36 Indian languages.

This is from the 1940s. There wasn't important room for singing in pictures also.

So Lata Mangeshkar started acting to run the family.

The story is from 1943-44, a film was being shot in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, where the notorious songster Noor of that time came to record her songs, in which a little girl was also playing a part.

Was The director of the film, while introducing the girl to Noor Jahan, said that she takes it and sings it too. Noor Jahan speaks warmly, sing commodity, Lata sang a song decorated with Shastriya Sangeet, at that time Noor Jahan heeded and Lata continued to sing.

Pleased with the girl's song, Noor Jahan said," Sing veritably well, Riaz, keep doing it, you'll go far."

This girl, who played small places in flicks for a living, went on to come the queen of heads, Lata Mangeshkar.

At the moment, I remember a saying by songster and director Gulzar that Lata isn't just a songster, she has come a part of the diurnal life of an Indian.

Lata as a musician Piecemeal from singing, there were numerous aspects of Lata's personality that people know veritably little about.

Lata Mangeshkar, for illustration, had a close relationship with a musician named Anand Dhan.

Anand Dhan had composed music for four Marathi flicks in the sixties.

It was none other than Lata Mangeshkar herself who changed the name to music.

In the 1930s, he also composed music for a Marathi film under his own name.

Marathi film Sadhi Mans was awarded for Stylish Music. In this form, Lata sat still on her seat, also someone said that Sangeet Dhan no bone differently Lata Mangeshkar.

It's also known that veritably many people know that Rishi Kesh Mukherjee had invited Lata Mangeshkar to give music for the film Anand. But Lata refused.

Author Nasreen Mani Kabir wrote a book after an interview with Lata Mangeshkar.

Pertaining to the recording of a song in the same book, Lata Mangeshkar had said that in 1962, she fell ill for a month.

"I had anX-ray of my stomach and also I was told that I had been given a mild bane. There was only one menial in our house who was cooking.

That day the menial went down without telling us and didn't indeed get his payment.

' Also we realized that someone had put him in our house, we don't know who he was They also ate.

This process continued for three months

Lata Mangeshkar's trip in the world of music may have ended in reaching the heights of success, but it began with struggle and difficulty.

 Lata's trip began with acting

After the death of her father in her nonage, Lata had to support her family by playing small places in flicks.

But she did not like make-up, acting, she just wanted to be a songster.

Meanwhile, music schoolteacher Ghulam Haider came into his life.

When they heard Lata's voice, they took her to the directors.

Lata sang songs from Hema Malani to Padmini Kolha Poora and Kajol

At that time Lata would be slightly 19 times old, her voice was disliked but Ghulam Haider stuck to his word and got Lata to play for Munawar Sultana in the movie Majboor.

Lata says that Ghulam Haider had told her that one day you'll come a great artist and those who are rejecting you'll run after you.

It's a strange coexistence that Ghulam Haider and Noor Jahan both migrated to Pakistan after the partition of India but their words proved true for Lata.

 Strange meeting with a teenager

After harkening to Lata Mangeshkar's song in the movie'Majboor', she got Kamal Amrohi's movie'Mahal'and she sang'Aaye Ga Aane Wala'. Lata has noway been short of pictures since also.

A funny story of the early days was told by Lata to BBC Hindi a many times agone.

In the forties, when I started singing in pictures, I used to take a original train from my home to Malad and also walk to the plant. On the way I met Kishore Kumar but They didn't fete me.

Kishore Kumar used to look at me, occasionally laughing and occasionally signaling the stick in his hand. I plant their movements strange.

I was singing Khem Chand Prakash's movie song at that time.

One day he followed me to the plant. I complained to Khem Chand ji that this boy keeps following me and laughs when he sees me, also he said that this is Kishore Kumar, youngish family of Ashok Kumar.

Also they introduced me and Kishore Kumar and we sang together for the first time in this movie.
