 According to a Bloomberg report, Apple used to give such a large sum of plutocrat in lagniappes to a group of its masterminds so that they would not leave their jobs and go to another warring company, especially Facebook. 

 According to the report, so important perk is given by the company to those masterminds who work in silicon design, tackle, certain software and operation group. 

Numerous high- performing masterminds have been given this perk in the form of company shares so that they don't work for any company other than Apple.
